Once you obtain your license in dental hygiene, your
student membership in
ADHA needs to be converted to an active
member to become entitled to all
the rights and privileges
afforded by the association.
So how do you convert your student membership
into active membership?
Step #1 Visit ADHA's website at www.adha.org and login to your
SADHA
membership record.
Step #2 Click on Convert Now link and complete the
required information.
You will need your license number to convert. If you do not
have access to the
internet, call 1-800-243-2342, press 1 (9:00 am to 4:00
pm). Be prepared
to give your full name, ADHA member number which is on the back
of your
SADHA membership card and your dental hygiene license
number. You must
convert before DEC. 31, 2007. This will provide you
benefits at no cost to you.
Step #3 Notify the IDHA Member
Services Trustee that you have converted,
online at ereinert@hotmail.com or
319.231.1193.
Step #4 Get involved in your local
component.
